Richard is a strategic marketing and engagement strategist with over 19 years of leadership experience in the technology and communications industries.
Richard has experience in a variety of senior leadership roles with a wide range of responsibilities. His roles have included leadership of large-scale online/social advertising campaigns, strategic marketing and communications, social media and word of mouth promotion, product development, client service, and project management.
Zain brings a decade of experience in political, business, and non-profit communications and marketing, with a specific focus on mobilization and engagement.
Zain is also a regular political commentator who appears weekly on CBC radio and television. In addition, Zain serves on the board of the YMCA Calgary, and The Canadian Children's Book Centre. In 2017 he served as the campaign manager for Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi's successful election bid.
Chris brings 10+ years of software development, architecture design, and team leadership to Northweather development projects.
Chris comes to the team with 5+ years in a SOX-compliant multi-national IT department, as well as 5+ years in a dynamic startup environment. With technical expertise ranging from .NET to MEAN-stack, and WordPress to SharePoint, Chris is able to take a technology agnostic approach to solution designing, and ensure the right tool is used for the job.
James has over two decades of experience working in the visual design industry. His specialties include branding, UX/UI, and print. He has led design projects for local, national, and international organizations including the Centre for Suicide Prevention, Unilever, and the LEGO Foundation.
James leads a small but scrappy team of talented designers, and is passionate about creating simple, meaningful experiences that solve complex problems.
Jeff has worked with multiple international and local brands over his career, and comes to us with two decades of experience in graphic design. His expertise lies in user interface design, visual identity, and both digital and print executions. He is passionate about creating great customer relationships and bringing clients’ visions to life through visual brand representation.
Toma brings over two decades of experience across graphic design, web UI and production design. In addition to his experience, Toma is exceptionally efficient and has an incredible attention to detail that he applies to all the projects he’s involved in. Since Northweather's inception, Toma has assisted with design for a wide range of our projects and campaigns.
Ryan brings over a decade of experience in business consulting and the creation of video content. He specializes in the production of marketing, communication, and advocacy videos.
Ryan is concurrently the Video Production Manager for IBM Business Partner Sweet Spot International and is a certified drone pilot. In 2018, he served as Rachel Notley's videographer during the provincial election campaign.
With over a decade of experience in the video production industry, Craigery enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge in visual storytelling. He’s had the opportunity to film all over Canada and the US and thoroughly enjoys working as part of a bigger creative team on big and small projects. The thrill of exploring techniques and style to tell compelling and emotional stories is what fuels his passion for filmmaking, and he sees every project as a living, breathing artwork. At the heart of it all is Craigery’s desire to make a difference in the world -to tell stories that drive change and meaningful dialogue. He’s a firm believer that our human stories have the power to connect us and bring us closer together.
